Greencore, a leading convenience food manufacturer with about £1.3bn turnover, 22 production sites and ~12,000 employees, faced inefficient, manual visitor processes that created security, health & safety and reporting challenges. Receptionists relied on signing-in books and carbonless slips, making it hard to know who was on site, capture health declarations, generate accurate reports, and control costs—one site alone handled over 6,000 visitors a year.

Greencore deployed Proxyclick’s cloud visitor-management system—pre-visit invitations and reminders, automated kiosk check-in, printed badges, Smart Questions for food-safety screening, host notifications and real-time reporting—plus post-visit satisfaction surveys. The rollout improved the visitor experience, boosted satisfaction, delivered accurate security and evacuation lists, helped identify contamination risks and PPE needs, cut administrative costs and is being extended across UK sites with potential US rollout.
