CyrusOne, a global enterprise data‑center provider with more than 30 sites and nearly 900 customers (now the third-largest in the US), faced a growing security and visitor-tracking problem. Their paper-based check-in process was labor-intensive, error-prone and made it difficult to verify past visits or documents like NDAs, leaving limited real‑time visibility of who was onsite across facilities.
To solve this they built a RapidEntry system integrated with Proxyclick’s visitor management and ID‑scanning via its API. Proxyclick enabled branded pre-registration, email/SMS invites, iPad check‑in and seamless host notifications; deployed across 26 US sites, the solution delivered consistent, error‑free visitor records, real‑time reporting for executives, strong integration support, and broad adoption (over 57,000 visits tracked with overwhelmingly positive feedback), while fitting into CyrusOne’s broader security stack.
