Pool Reinsurance (PoolRE), a UK-based mutual insurer, needed to move corporate data from Hummingbird DocsOpen to a new SharePoint 2016 intranet. The challenge was complicated by nearly half the content lacking required metadata, more than a hundred destination folders across multiple site collections, content hierarchy changes, and invalid source data. Proventeq helped PoolRE plan and execute the migration.

Using its migration expertise and rules-based product, Proventeq delivered an end-to-end solution that migrated about 250,000 documents while preserving and standardizing metadata. The project included data cleansing, transformation, format conversion, and item-level auditing to ensure content was successfully migrated to meet SharePoint’s requirements. As a result, PoolRE achieved a reliable, consolidated content environment with improved data consistency and retention.
