Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), a UAE government-owned free zone authority, was struggling with an ageing IBM FileNet system that had become too complex for users and was hindering productivity, collaboration, and efficient content management. To address this, DSOA worked with Proventeq to plan a move to Microsoft SharePoint and improve how its content was organized and governed.

Proventeq used its Migration Accelerator to analyze the existing FileNet environment, map and flatten folder structures, consolidate 200 document classes into fewer than 20 content types, generate metadata, and migrate 850GB of content to SharePoint.
