Airtel, a leading telecommunications company in India, needed to migrate Employee Car Sales (ECS) department documents from IBM FileNet object store (HRSS) into Microsoft SharePoint. The project involved more than 110 GB of content and presented challenges around content architecture analysis, business decisions, encrypted documents, and maintaining a full audit trail. Proventeq supported the migration using its Migration Accelerator.

Proventeq delivered an end-to-end, rules-based migration solution that included a custom SharePoint application to decode encrypted files and item-level auditing to ensure content was cleansed, transformed, and migrated successfully. The migration was staged over two weeks to minimize business disruption, improved data consistency and reliability, and helped preserve business continuity while automating complex migration steps to save time and cost.
