Marmon Holdings, a global industrial organization with more than 100 manufacturing and service businesses, wanted better visibility into machine usage at its McKenzie Valve Plant. Working with Provectus, the company sought a computer vision solution to track run versus idle time, reduce production bottlenecks, and improve ROI while keeping implementation costs low.

Provectus and Marmon’s IT team implemented a computer vision and video analytics solution that detects machine indicator light colors and sends notifications when they change via IoT protocols, with video processed on an AWS Panorama edge appliance. The result gave Marmon critical operational insights, highly accurate machine-utilization detection, and a scalable system that was delivered in 5 weeks and is ready to be rolled out across other Marmon facilities.
