Case Study: Fortune 300 Insurance Company achieves faster Salesforce regression testing with Provar

Fortune 300 Insurance Company, a US-based insurer with more than $12 billion in annual revenue, needed a better way to handle testing across a sophisticated Salesforce Service Cloud and Vlocity environment. Manual testing was taking too long and consuming too many resources, especially for more than 2,000 test scenarios covering case management and a complex Service Request Management console with multiple tabs, custom components, and advanced iFrame handling.

The company worked with Cognizant and Provar to implement Provar’s code-free Salesforce test automation platform, including reusable, data-driven test cases that could run across multiple profiles and environments. Provar helped Cognizant build 185 test cases in the first 10 days and enabled up to 400 nightly CI test runs, cycling through 2,000 test cases each week across four user profiles. The result was significantly faster regression testing, higher test coverage, and detailed PDF reports with granular pass/fail insights.
