Microsoft Services DevOps Chooses Provance ITSM for a Rapidly Changing World

Microsoft Services DevOps, part of Microsoft, needed a service management platform that could keep up with a fast-changing DevOps environment, support heavy traffic, and provide better visibility across IT services and assets. It also wanted stronger self-service, automation, and integrated IT asset management than its existing approach could deliver, so it evaluated several options including Provance ITSM.

Microsoft implemented Provance ITSM powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365 to unify ITSM and ITAM, automate service catalog items with minimal coding, and connect with the Microsoft ecosystem including Azure, Office 365, Teams, and Power Automate. The result was a 360-degree view of the service environment, faster request fulfillment, reduced time to production for automations, and better reporting and decision-making; the team now handles over 600 requests per month and plans to scale to more than 1,500 per month as more automation is added.
