Arndt Automotive, a 34-year-old shop in Malta, Illinois, needed a better way to manage operations and protect margins while dealing with the disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Arndt Automotive moved from R.O. Writer and Peachtree accounting software to Protractor’s cloud-based software and integrated accounting tool. Protractor helped the shop improve tracking, add checks and balances, and streamline service packages, charges, parts sourcing, and tire pricing; over a rolling 12-month period, revenue increased 20%, and Arndt also cited 147% year-over-year sales growth in November 2021 and 52% in January 2022 as signs of its impact.
