AutoNiche, a repair shop in Markham, Ontario, wanted better ways to support customer loyalty, maintain accurate records, and avoid the problems that came with double-entering data and waiting for reconciled numbers. Owner Emily Chung also wanted systems that reinforced the shop’s focus on quality, honesty, and integrity, while giving technicians and advisors better access to work history and inspections.

Protractor provided the shop management software, and AutoNiche paired it with AutoServe1 digital vehicle inspections. The integration gave advisors quick access to previous work orders and let them start estimating while technicians were still inspecting vehicles, while the Reminder List feature helped present preventative maintenance schedules to customers. AutoNiche also uses the photos and videos from inspections to support warranty claims and reduce liability, with technicians capturing an average of 20 photos and videos per inspection.
