WhoByYou, a web-based social networking and promotion platform that connects businesses (“who”) with users (“you”), needed a way to coordinate design and development across a distributed, outsourced team (including an equity development team in Uruguay). To avoid lost ideas and scattered feedback, WhoByYou chose the ProtoShare prototyping tool to provide a single, collaborative environment for communicating design, building wireframes, and managing reviews.

ProtoShare’s real-time collaboration, layout editor, pushpins and threaded discussions let the team quickly create grey-box wireframes, set page hierarchies, and iterate on complex functionality together. The result was faster, more transparent prototyping—feedback was consolidated in one location, remote contributors could comment or edit regardless of location, and occasional partners could sign in as Reviewers and immediately gain project visibility, accelerating decision-making and development.
