ProtoShare Helps Mentor Graphics “Nearly Eliminate” Rework

Mentor Graphics, a global leader in electronic design automation, needed a better way to communicate functional, design, and content intent after adopting Agile. Their prior process relied on static wireframes and PDFs that clients couldn’t interact with, which led to late discoveries, costly HTML/back-end rework, and slow iterations. To address this, the Web Services team adopted ProtoShare for interactive prototyping and stakeholder collaboration.

Using ProtoShare to build and share interactive prototypes let Mentor Graphics gather real client feedback earlier, attach approved wireframes to Jira as visual specifications, and centralize all iterations and comments. The result: key issues are uncovered much sooner, changes that once took 3–4 days of rework can now be implemented in a morning, and rework has been nearly eliminated—improving speed, clarity, and cross-team collaboration with ProtoShare.
