Traditional methods failed as users would swipe through instructions without comprehension, preventing them from fully understanding the device's advanced features.

Using ProtoPie, Vivint created an interactive "Madlib" onboarding experience where users input their settings into a story format. ProtoPie's variables, conditions, and formulas powered custom animations that visually demonstrated how the user's specific choices would affect the camera's behavior.
