Students at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), who were beginners in UX design, were challenged to solve a real-world problem with their TicketMaster app redesign project. Their goal was to enhance the user experience for event planning and social connectivity, moving beyond the app's basic ticket-purchasing functionality. They used the prototyping tool ProtoPie to bring their high-fidelity, interactive concepts to life.

Using ProtoPie, the students integrated complex features like social cost-splitting and AR seat selection into their prototype, which allowed for realistic user testing and validation. The solution was so successful that the student team won the prestigious 2023 Communication Arts Interactive Competition Award, demonstrating ProtoPie's effectiveness in helping designers create award-winning work.
