How ProtoPie helps Indonesian Super-app Gojek to test features on the visually impaired

Gojek, an Indonesian super-app, needed a streamlined and coherent design system to ensure consistency across its many mobile products. Their challenge was to efficiently create high-fidelity prototypes for testing, particularly for accessibility features for visually impaired users, without having to recreate components from scratch for each new project.

Using ProtoPie, the team implemented a system of variables and conditional triggers to build dynamic, reusable components. This allowed them to automate calculations, manage different component states, and create a prototype specifically for accessibility testing using the Speak feature. As a result, ProtoPie enabled Gojek to rapidly gather genuine user feedback from the visually impaired, iterate quickly, and de-risk product development by fine-tuning features before launch.
