Sonos needed a reliable partner to help prototype a revolutionary transducer system for its Arc Ultra speaker, aiming to dramatically enhance bass performance while simultaneously shrinking the product's overall size. Protolabs delivered critical high-fidelity prototypes, including the innovative Sound Motion driver, enabling rapid design iteration. This collaboration allowed Sonos to achieve twice the bass performance at 50Hz with a single driver, increase the total transducer count within a slimmer design, and significantly accelerate the development timeline.
