SBT Aqua, a Danish company, needed to prepare its groundbreaking water-analysis technology, BactoFlow, for production. To refine and validate the sensor design quickly, it worked with Protolabs using 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection moulding services.

Protolabs helped SBT Aqua rapidly prototype, test, and improve the product with short turnaround times and design checks that identified improvements before production. As a result, SBT Aqua saved several months of production time, reduced costs, and moved BactoFlow toward market launch faster, with full-scale injection moulding planned through Protolabs.
