Naturebytes, the company behind the Nestbox camera kit for monitoring nesting birds, needed to rapidly turn a refined prototype into a manufacturable product after the kit was selected for Belgium’s Google-funded Xperibird educational project. With a deadline to supply 500 kits quickly, Naturebytes turned to Protolabs for a fast, reliable injection-moulding service for the casing that houses the electronics.
