AGI Solutions, formed by three UK-based inventors, had a challenge: they needed to develop high-quality, functional prototypes of their innovative heated kitchen utensils, the EasiSpread knife and EasiScoop, to validate their designs for ergonomic testing and to present to investors. They turned to the digital manufacturer Protolabs for assistance.

Protolabs implemented a solution by analyzing the CAD models and utilizing its 3D printing services to manufacture the proof-of-concept parts. This provided AGI Solutions with production-ready prototypes that had a superb polished finish, enabling successful ergonomic testing and creating excellent models to take to market for their crowdfunding campaign.
