NEOLab (New England Orthodontic Laboratory) is a state-of-the-art dental lab serving pediatric dentists and orthodontists nationwide that needed to integrate 3D printing into its digital workflow to improve speed, accuracy, and reduce waste. Working with Proto3000, NEOLab adopted 3D scanning and printing technologies — including the Stratasys Objet Eden260V and FDA‑approved VeroDent material — to move from intraoral scans straight to in‑house production.

Proto3000 helped implement a seamless digital workflow (scan → splining, basing, bracket removal → print) so NEOLab now produces models layer-by-layer at 16‑micron accuracy and cuts days off delivery times. The Proto3000-enabled solution reduced material and storage waste, increased throughput and consistency, and—per NEOLab leadership—made 3D printing the most efficient part of the lab.
