A Proto3000 Case Study
Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) needed to give students and its Additive Lab Consortium partners practical, industry‑ready access to functional elastomer 3D printing and design‑for‑additive-manufacturing training. Proto3000 supplied Stratasys F123 Series printers, TPU 92A elastomer material, and supported use of the Stratasys Certification Program so MSOE’s 2,900 students and roughly 47 manufacturing partners could prototype tougher, flexible parts and learn economically viable AM practices.
Proto3000’s deployment delivered fast, reliable capability: MSOE reported going from uncrating to successful prints in about 15 minutes, expanded resume‑worthy student projects in the RP center, and stronger support for consortium members integrating AM into operations. The result was more industry‑aligned projects, certified, job‑ready graduates, and readily produced engineered elastomer parts for partner companies.
