Investment Banking Company struggled to find and organize thousands of photos of employees and customers stored across multiple SharePoint folders. Protiviti’s On-Demand Support team built a Facial Recognition Application using the Microsoft Cognitive Services Face API to learn faces from headshots and enable quick searching and identification across event photo libraries.

Protiviti’s solution scans and tags recognized faces, surfaces names and companies via standard SharePoint search, and shows identified faces with hoverable profile links, making it much faster to locate people in photos. As a result, users can instantly pull up event photos by name, click to see all images of a person, and more easily analyze customer interactions—photos are now far more accessible and the client is highly satisfied, with additional Phase 2 features planned.
