Freeborn & Peters LLP, a Chicago-based full-service law firm, wanted to create an intranet that would improve open communication and cooperation across its attorneys and staff, while making it easier to share current information and find everyday administrative resources. To support this goal, the firm turned to Protiviti and the SharePoint 2010 platform.

Protiviti helped Freeborn & Peters implement a new SharePoint 2010 intranet called “TheCore,” featuring firm alerts, team sites, an employee toolbox, and a Town Hall area for centralized updates. The new site quickly improved content management, with important information being updated two to three times a week or more, and also boosted the firm’s social media and external marketing efforts by making it easier for attorneys to share articles and press releases.
