The American Osteopathic Association (AOA), which represents tens of thousands of osteopathic physicians, needed to update and merge its separate public and member websites so staff could update content more efficiently and members could more easily find important information. To address this, AOA engaged Protiviti and selected the SharePoint 2010 platform to rebuild and consolidate their online presence.

Protiviti implemented a merged SharePoint 2010 site that improved connectivity, collaboration and content management for staff and members. As a result, www.osteopathic.org surpassed the combined viewership of the two previous sites and traffic to the new Annual Meeting section increased exponentially—becoming one of the most visited parts of the site and at times even exceeding the popular “Find a DO” feature—demonstrating clear, measurable engagement gains from the Protiviti solution.
