American Industrial Hygiene Association - Customer Case Study

The American Industrial Hygiene Association needed to modernize its online presence by upgrading a SharePoint 2007 site to SharePoint 2010 to improve the user interface and member collaboration, and to deliver a more user-friendly mobile experience across tablets and smartphones. AIHA engaged Protiviti—its previous SharePoint partner from 2009—to execute the upgrade and redesign.

Protiviti upgraded AIHA’s SharePoint environment (including six subsites) and implemented Responsive Design for better mobile usability; the new site launched in May 2013 and integrates member authentication with AIHA’s CRM so members can manage profile and member-only content. Protiviti’s work completed the migration without public disruption and produced strong user feedback on a cleaner design, improved site mapping and navigation, and a noticeably better mobile experience.
