Randstad Belgium, a major HR services provider, was facing challenges with its manual, paper-based system for tracking employee hours and absences. This led to a high administrative workload, frequent errors in salary calculations, and a lack of self-service for its 1,700 employees. To overcome this, they partnered with vendor Protime to implement the Protime e-Premium workforce management system.

The solution included ProTime for the HR department and ProNet for Employee Self-Service. This allowed staff to manage their own leave requests and view their balances online, streamlining the entire process. For Randstad, Protime’s system integrated seamlessly with their salary engine, reducing calculation errors to zero and saving the personnel department the equivalent of half a full-time employee annually, allowing them to focus on core tasks.
