The Liebherr Group, a major international manufacturer of machinery and engines, sought a solution to manage working hours for its 1,000 employees at its Swiss headquarters. The company partnered with the vendor Protime to implement its time tracking system, aiming to increase transparency for staff and reduce manual administrative tasks for the HR department.

Protime provided a system that integrated with employee access badges, allowing staff to view their own time budgets, overtime, and holidays. This solution gave employees full responsibility for their hours and freed the HR team from manually filling service records, enabling them to focus on more important tasks. The implementation was a collaborative project involving Protime's installation partner, Niklas, and the access control provider, Kaba.
