A Protime Case Study
Liebherr Machines Bulle SA, part of the Liebherr Group in Bulle, Switzerland, needed to replace an outdated time management system that was no longer compatible with modern computer systems and to upgrade badge-based access control to current standards. Protime was selected because it understood the Swiss context and could provide an integrated solution for time management and access control.
Protime implemented ProTime, ProTeam, ProNet, and ProAccess, creating a single system for time recording, leave requests, reporting, and access control with no manual re-entry of absence data. The new setup improved transparency for employees, reduced phone calls and e-mails for HR, automated holiday and sick-leave processes, and provided instant balance calculations at each clocking event. At the Bulle plant, the system was rolled out for more than 900 employees and has been in use since 2012, freeing HR to focus on more important tasks.
