A Protime Case Study
CNH Industrial’s Zedelgem site in Belgium, which designs and produces large agricultural and construction equipment, needed to replace its existing time logging system after moving to a new manufacturing platform in 2012. The company, with 2,700 employees and complex shift patterns, struggled to integrate time logging with production, handle leave and absences manually, and generate fast management reporting. CNH Industrial chose Protime and its SaaS-based workforce management and time logging solution to address these issues.
Protime implemented the system using its project clock methodology, working closely with HR and ICT in a single project team and using key users, parallel testing, and targeted training to ensure a smooth roll-out. The result was better integration with manufacturing and clearer insight into wage costs per project, department, and operation, along with faster planning, easier leave processing, more autonomy for team leaders, and reduced manual work for HR. CNH Industrial also reported rapid reporting on anomalies and planned to expand Protime to its Antwerp factory, showing strong confidence in the solution.
