Ogilvy, the North America agency of record for Huggies, needed to drive trial and habit change for the new Huggies Slip-On squirm‑proof diaper by getting “squirmy‑baby” moms to try an Easy‑on, Easy‑off 5‑day Challenge, stick with the new routine, and share their success. To power immediate engagement and mobile check‑ins, Ogilvy partnered with ProTexting to add SMS and mobile check‑in capability to the program.
ProTexting’s technology was integrated to deliver real‑time SMS engagement and track/check‑in activity so Ogilvy could optimize the campaign on the fly. The challenge generated 103K check‑ins (85% via Facebook, 15% via mobile), with August representing roughly 20% of visits/check‑ins/shares; 42% of users shared coupons to earn higher‑value offers, resulting in 18.8K views and 19.3K prints of $2 coupons and 13.7K views and 16.8K prints of $3 coupons.
