Global Financial Firm, a global financial services provider spanning retail, corporate, and investment banking, wealth management, and credit card services, needed a secure way to migrate sensitive data to the cloud while maintaining compliance and enabling faster analytics. Working with Protegrity and its Data Security Platform on AWS, the firm wanted to protect sensitive financial data, accelerate time to market, and support AI and analytics use cases across cloud and third-party tools.

Protegrity implemented a cloud data protection architecture using three Lambda functions integrated with Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, and a REST API, ensuring only approved services could generate payloads and invoke the functions. As a result, Global Financial Firm securely migrated substantial data to the cloud and increased access to sensitive data from 30% to 100%, while also reducing time to market, accelerating analytics value, and enabling new cloud, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
