The National Association of Development Organizations (NADO), a Washington, D.C.–based trade association serving 400 member organizations, needed to modernize its association management software and member portal. Although NADO was a long-time customer of Protech Associates, its legacy AMS lacked e-commerce and required cumbersome manual processes for event registration, accounts receivable and membership engagement, prompting a board-commissioned evaluation before moving forward.

Protech Associates implemented its UX 365 AMS (built for Microsoft Dynamics 365) and the MX 365 member-facing e-commerce portal, centralizing data with single sign-on, enabling online payments, streamlined event registration (including guest adds and dynamic pricing), and customizable reporting. The Protech Associates solution delivered improved staff visibility, personal dashboards for data-driven decisions, faster back-office workflows and an enhanced online member experience for NADO’s 400 members.
