Major Telecommunications Company, a Fortune 20 retailer with more than 2,200 locations nationwide, needed a streamlined way to deliver fully configured Apple iPads for use with its POS systems and to track those devices across its operations. ProSys provided the staging, configuration, inventory management, and deployment services needed to support ongoing tablet rollouts and rapid replacement of failed units.

ProSys implemented a solution through its Integration Center that stocked iPads, captured serial numbers and device identifiers, built a custom inventory database, loaded and registered apps, applied custom labeling and accessories, and supported a hot-swap program for overnight replacement shipments. The result was a more cost-effective outsourced process that improved deployment efficiency and maintained accurate real-time inventory for the customer’s tablet fleet.
