A ProSys Case Study
Leading Community Based Health System, a network of 11 not-for-profit hospitals and healthcare service organizations, worked with ProSys to simplify a complex Windows XP to Windows 7 desktop upgrade. The organization was maintaining separate Windows 7 images and task sequences for each hardware platform, while also relying on an outdated, difficult-to-manage encryption solution that slowed deployment and increased maintenance costs.
ProSys, partnering with KiZAN Technologies, implemented a single hardware-independent gold image and one unified task sequence using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and System Center Configuration Manager. ProSys also replaced the legacy encryption tool with Microsoft BitLocker, plus BitLocker Administration and Monitoring and Group Policy Objects for easier management. The result was faster, lower-cost desktop rollouts, elimination of Windows XP systems, reduced risk and compliance issues, and improved IT efficiency with remote monitoring and administration through System Center Configuration Manager 2012.
