Nation Largest Distributors, one of the nation’s largest distributors of optical products and a provider of practice management services for eye care professionals, turned to ProSys after mergers left it with fragmented telephony and workforce management systems. The company also faced looming end-of-support issues on its Cisco-based contact center platform supporting 350 agents across multiple sites in three states.
ProSys recommended a consultative upgrade rather than a full replacement, implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise, and Cisco Unity, along with LAN/WAN upgrades and SIP circuits. The result was a unified communications platform across seven locations in four states, improved contact routing and reporting, lower operating costs, and a solution delivered at a little more than half the cost of total replacement, all within the customer’s two-month integration timeline.
