Largest Collectors Of Human Plasma, one of the world’s largest human plasma collectors, was struggling with inefficient donor processing that limited daily throughput and constrained growth. The organization engaged ProSys to help modernize its IT infrastructure, including data center design, network upgrades, storage improvements, and support for an EMR-based donor intake process.

ProSys deployed HP blade servers, Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, NetApp storage arrays, and Citrix-delivered virtual applications for remote sites, while also implementing donor kiosks, fingerprint readers, wireless devices, and carts. The result was a faster, more scalable collection process that doubled the number of donors processed each day, helped expand from 65 to 100 collection centers, and positioned the company to open 15 more sites per year for the next five years.
