Zebra Technologies boosts AWS ESR by 13.2% with ProsperOps

Zebra Technologies, a designer of hardware and software solutions for frontline industries, faced challenges in managing cloud cost commitments across its multi-cloud AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environment. After a key resource departed, manual management became unsustainable, creating risk of wasted spend and making it difficult to synchronize commitments with changing workloads. They turned to ProsperOps for its Autonomous Discount Management to automate this process.

ProsperOps implemented its solution across all three cloud platforms, using adaptive algorithms to continuously monitor usage and automatically adjust commitments like Azure Reservations and Google Cloud CUDs. This automation eliminated manual effort and reduced cross-team meetings. As a result, Zebra Technologies significantly increased its Effective Savings Rate (ESR), including an 8.7% boost in Azure and a 13.2% increase in AWS, while maintaining strong performance on Google Cloud.
