Roads and Maritime Services, a NSW State Government agency responsible for roads, licensing and vehicle registration, needed a simple, scalable incident reporting and investigation system to help managers identify, assess and control OHS risks, capture near misses, conduct quality incident investigations (including contributing factors and just/fair consequence management), enable quick notifications, and reduce incident recurrences. Prospecta addressed this need with its WorkSafeOnline (WSO) / EnSafe Online solution.
Prospecta implemented WSO modules (Incident, Injury, Hazard, Employee, Workflow, Audit, Claims, Actions and more), delivering self‑service reporting from 3,500+ locations, automated investigations and escalations, configurable notifications, 72‑hour follow‑up reminders, SAP master‑data integration and an improved user interface. The system now supports ~15,000 users, centralises reporting (including contractor sites), enforces timely task closure and escalations, improves compliance and investigation quality, and has measurably reduced risk and cost while improving safety measures and reporting for Roads and Maritime Services.
