Largest Chemical Company, one of the three largest chemical producers in the world and a Fortune 500 firm with about 54,000 employees across ~160 countries, struggled with fragmented master data for materials and maintenance: roughly 700 undocumented business rules, mass data requests from new plants and acquisitions that delayed operations, inconsistent regional standards, Excel-driven manual processes, and manually managed SLAs — all creating compliance, safety and operational risks.
