Leading Air Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration Company, a leading Indian HVAC and refrigeration firm with annual revenues over US$ 510 million, 35 offices, 5 manufacturing facilities, 2,700 employees, 2,200 dealers and 600 retailers, was struggling to track vendors and the activities of sales and service executives. Business processes were manual and paper-driven (new dealer registration, export orders, reporting), communication with stakeholders ran over email, there was no central document repository or SAP integration — challenges Prospecta addressed using its MDO platform.
Prospecta implemented the MDO platform to build multiple applications, notably a Dealer Portal to automate dealer onboarding, monitoring and performance analysis, and an Export Order Tracking app to initiate and track third-party export orders with status reports and notifications. The Prospecta solution delivered automated workflows and approvals, increased transparency in dealer processes, faster execution of business cycles, self-service forms, real-time SAP integration, a central data/document repository, scalability as the business grows, and a reporting framework for customized reports.
