Fontys University of Applied Sciences, a higher education institution in Rotterdam, Netherlands, serves 40,000 students and 3,000 academic staff across twelve library locations. The university wanted a more Google-like discovery experience for users, faster access to full-text articles, and better tools for staff to streamline e-resource workflows and assess usage.

ProQuest’s Serials Solutions services, including the Summon Service, 360 Link, 360 Resource Manager, and 360 Counter, were implemented across the digital library. The result was a simpler search experience for users, faster access to full-text resources, and more efficient e-resource management for staff, including easier report compilation to evaluate resource value and make decisions about which resources to keep or cut.
