Arizona State University Modernizes Students’ Research Experiences with Library One Search

Arizona State University wanted to reduce barriers between users and library data and make research easier for its more than 65,000 students across four campuses and online. The university worked with ProQuest, using the Summon web-scale discovery service to respond to faculty, staff, and student demand for a simpler starting point for library research.

ProQuest helped ASU customize the service as Library One Search and place it across the library homepage, the My ASU portal, digital signage, banners, and other campus web pages. After one semester, the service had become rooted in the ASU community’s research process, and student feedback was consistently positive.
