Snyder’s-Lance, a leading snack food manufacturer and distributor, was struggling with fragmented financial processes: three separate Corporate Performance Management systems with different hierarchies and account structures made consolidation slow and left the company without a single version of the truth, limiting timely analysis and decision-making.

After selecting Prophix for its finance-owned approach and strong allocation and Microsoft integration, Snyder’s-Lance consolidated planning and reporting into three Prophix cubes (Financial, Personnel and Allocation) integrated with Oracle GL and UltiPro HR. The team migrated over 1,000 allocations and reduced them to 250, gaining automated budgeting, forecasting, reporting and profitability analysis, deeper drill-through to transaction and invoice details, and improved variance analysis and planning capabilities.
