RACER Trust, created to clean up and redevelop former GM facilities, manages dozens of properties with a $500M revitalization budget and a 100‑year environmental responsibility. The Trust needed a budgeting and reporting system that could track dozens of changing property attributes, multiple managers and contractors, and long‑term holding costs such as maintenance, insurance and security across all sites.

RACER Trust selected Prophix for automated reporting, flexible attribute modeling and a built‑in 100‑year time dimension. Prophix enabled dedicated holding‑cost, personnel, professional and financial models, three economic scenario budgets (monthly for five years, then yearly), detailed staffing and contractor budgeting, and consolidated reporting—giving the Office of Finance the visibility to project costs to each property’s sale date and manage the Trust until assets are sold.
