Duvel Moortgat Brewery, an independent Belgian brewer founded in 1871 with operations in over 60 countries and seven production sites, faced growing consolidation complexity as the group expanded. The finance team had to perform four consolidations a year across 40 entities and four currencies while meeting investor and bank requirements, managing sub‑consolidations in different currencies, coordinating equity reconciliations, and producing a consolidated cash flow statement.
