All Star Directories is an independent marketing and technology company (≈52 employees, $25–28M revenue) focused on advancing careers through education. Their finance team struggled with QuickBooks’ limited reporting and modeling, which left them without a single source of truth, limited visibility into revenue and costs by channel, and lengthy budgeting and reporting cycles that hampered accountability and strategic analysis.

All Star implemented Prophix CPM on‑premise with direct integration to QuickBooks and their MSBI warehouse, giving them consolidated balance sheet and P&L “highlights,” channel-level marketing and margin visibility, and actual vs. plan and trend analysis. The switch cut budgeting from 5½ days to a few hours and reporting from 16 to 2 hours (about 14 hours saved per month), while enabling new models and future plans to track customers, BI metrics, fixed assets and stock options.
