A Propel Case Study
Meyer Sound, a global leader in sound reinforcement, spatial sound, acoustic systems, studio monitoring, and high-end residential systems, needed a new way to manage complex product information across multidisciplinary teams. During the pandemic, the company also wanted improved configurability, process automation, a single source of truth for documentation, and worldwide access for remote teams, so it replaced a legacy PLM solution with Propel.
Propel gave Meyer Sound a knowledge-based platform for parts, BoMs, deviations, change orders, assembly work instructions, manuals, operating guides, and other product documentation. With workflow automation in place, Meyer Sound cut document control overhead by 50%, improved efficiency and responsiveness, and gave engineers and administrators more control over internal systems without relying on a web developer or IT department.
