Sentient Energy, a leading Intelligent Sensing Platform provider for power utilities, faced slow, opaque change management: change orders weren’t visible until the approval phase, which lengthened cycle times and hindered collaboration with suppliers and contract manufacturers. To address this, Sentient Energy adopted Propel’s change management solution built on the Salesforce platform to improve supplier collaboration and visibility.
Propel implemented a modern interface with third‑party vendor portals so contract manufacturers and key suppliers could approve changes and add context directly, and allowed adjustments to change orders while in the change control board. As a result, Propel helped Sentient Energy achieve faster change order cycle times, a stronger approval process, and quicker resolution of customer issues.
