National Accounting Firm, a regular exhibitor and sponsor of an annual trade show, wanted to expand beyond traditional sponsorship and test geofencing as a way to reinforce marketing and reach more attendees. They engaged Propellant Media to pilot geofencing and geo-optimization around the event to broaden their exposure.

Propellant Media built geo-fences around the event and nearby hotels, implemented event targeting, IP address targeting and site retargeting, and served ads during the 4-day show plus up to 216 additional days. The campaign delivered a 0.15% CTR (above the 0.1% industry average) and successfully drove attendees to the client’s booth.
