Global Newborn Solutions achieves 92% warmth rate with Propelland

Global Newborn Solutions (GNS), a company dedicated to fighting infant mortality, faced the challenge of preventing hypothermia for one million newborns annually in rural areas with limited electricity. They sought the expertise of Propelland to finalize the technical design of their reusable warming device, the DreamWarmer, and to identify manufacturing partners for volume production.

Propelland improved the DreamWarmer's usability and durability through rapid design sprints and material innovation, creating a high-fidelity prototype ready for manufacturing. The solution achieved outstanding results: the DreamWarmer maintained warmth for 92% of newborns, with 89% of hypothermic infants returning to a normal temperature. Following a successful debut in Rwanda, Propelland helped GNS scale this life-saving solution for global impact.
